The solar eclipse on 08-11-1999

Here are some photographs I have taken myself during the solar eclipse in august. I was located right on the entralilty line, in France near Metz. On this location, the beginning of the eclipse was nearly unexistant because of the cloudness of the sky.
But we had a lot of chance when the clouds open themselves just at the beginning of the totality ! And after, the sky remained a little shiny, so I could take the photos I show you today. By clicking on the appropriate thumbnail, your can have the picture full-size. Enjoy yourselves !
The pictures appear in chronological order. First serie of photographs was taken using my 115/900 telescope, with a magnifying of 33. The film was a black and white 100 ASA Ilford.

This second serie of pictures was taken with a 300mm teleobjective first, then in the same conditions than the first serie, but with an aluminised mylar filter. This time, the film was a 100 ASA Fuji superia.
